Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) is a structured, evidence-based parenting program that teaches parents how to use therapeutic play skills at home to strengthen connection and improve behavior. Through guided support and coaching, parents learn how to respond with empathy, set effective limits and create intentional play sessions that build trust and cooperation.

As a Registered Play Therapist™, I bring specialized training in child development and therapeutic play to this work, ensuring parents feel confident and supported as they practice these skills.

While CPRT serves as the foundation, I thoughtfully integrate elements of Facilitating Encouraging Connection Therapy (FECT) through an Adlerian lens. This means we look beyond surface behaviors to understand their purpose, emphasize encouragement over correction and strengthen your child’s sense of belonging and significance, helping them feel Capable, Connected, Courageous, and that they Count.

The goal is not simply managing behavior, but empowering parents to become the primary agents of change through deeper connection, clarity and confidence.
